Eileen Fisher RENEW is hosting a community indigo dip-dye event on Sunday, August 22 in Seattle. The event, co-hosted with Botanical Colors at Columbia City's The Patio will give the community a chance to learn about the indigo process and dip a piece into the vat.

Time: 12-4 p.m.

Location: Rainier Ave & S Ferdinand St. (Columbia City, Seattle, WA)

Cost: Free and open to all

RENEW is a take-back program that gives Eileen Fisher clothing a renewed life by helping it find a new home or turning them into an entirely new design. Customers receive a $5 Reward Card for each item returned. A team of specialists then sorts through each piece to check for wear, stains, and holes. Garments in great condition are resold and the rest are recycled or transformed into one-of-a-kind pieces.

In March of 2021, Eileen Fisher RENEW took back 19,000 articles of clothing. Since launching its program in 2009, the brand has taken in 1.5 million pieces of clothing in total. (Source)
