Bellevue Fashion Week Recap

The Collective Runway Show at Bellevue Fashion Week on Saturday night was a beautiful celebration of fashion and philanthropy. Dress For Success Seattle was the official non-profit partner of the evening and 100% of the ticket sale proceeds from the event were donated to support Dress for Success programs that empower women.

Jennifer Leavitt, Vice President of Marketing at The Bellevue Collection, welcomed guests and introduced Kiesha Garrison, Chief Champion of Dress for Success to share more about its mission. The show marked the first time since the fall of 2019 that fashion fans could gather in person to see new arrivals from Bellevue Collection retailers. This year is also special because it marks the 75th anniversary of the grand opening of Bellevue Square. In the early 1950’s Bellevue Square was home to stores like Fredrick & Nelson, Nordstrom Best, Florsheim Shoes, and J.J. Newberry. Over the years, the Kemper Freeman Family has remained committed to building a strong community and fostering its growth through the addition of specialty retailers, restaurants, and community events.

Over 80 fall fashion looks were sent down the runway on Saturday night, curated and styled by Terri Morgan of TCM Models. Hair was styled by Obadiah Salon and its team of amazing stylists including local favorite, Vu Montgomery. All photos by Vivian Hsu Photography. Trends spanned from tartan plaid overcoats to embellished ankle boots, zip puffer jackets, pleated dresses, and vegan leather mini skirts. The event raised a total of $45,000 for Dress for Success Seattle. View the full gallery below.

Congratulations on 75 years Bellevue Collection. Thank you for a beautiful night of fall fashion!
